The Revenant

"The Revenant" is a self-portrait. My birth name translates to "Divine Pearl" and my chosen name translates to "King". Additionally, I have brought together elements within my body other than my hands that feel pain. My hands often get the spotlight but I really wanted to honor the rest of my body through my art. This piece visually tells the rest of the story of who I am and what I live with but is arranged in a way that celebrates the life I have and declares it as beautiful despite it often being, dark, heavy, and painful.
