Gateway

When I precariously ventured down onto the beach it was like walking into a different world. I had never seen such beauty, just, in my face like this. This had only been experienced in movies or my dreams. I continuously questioned to myself if this was real. Was I really here? It was real. I waded in the water. I basked in the sun. I sunk into the sand and wiggled my toes. Jubilation.
