"TribalWild Blue"

Wafts of brilliant white smoke amid deep sounds of ethereal African drumbeats animate this empowered version of a body-painted nude tribal temptress. She dares hopeful onlookers to allow her wanton desires. When midnight skies blacken deep, she adorns heavy metal fashion accessories and consents to only a few daubs of luminous white body paint. Few of her nightly conquests ever argue her bold choice of scant attire. And none deny her wanton dares of the night. I photographed this audacious and most renowned Hungarian model, Dorka Banki, in my Bangkok studio. She wears only a giant Hmong Hill Tribe metal necklace I acquired in Northern Laos. Nothing else would she allow to conceal her modesty. Of noteworthy interest, Southeast Asia’s most famous makeup artist, Hilde Marie Johansen, crafted this exquisite body painting extraordinaire while I own the lighting, the artistic direction . . . and the blue.
