Description
This is a real timelapse video of planet Mars captured with my telescope from the Negev desert.
It's one of my most prized possession, a high quality, super clear, 4 hour timelapse video.
A total of 120000 single images were captured to create this video.
They were stacked into 60 single frames and later stabilized, sharpened and combined to create the video which shows the rotation of the planet over the course of 4 hours.
Mars day is about 1 day and 37 minute long.
Captured with an 11 inch SCT Telescope using an astronomy camera and a tracking mount.
