Toy Ships, Real Dreams, Fake Cities is a part of my Insulo collection. The works of Insulo are island based with a dreamy outlook. This first reveal on KnownOrigin is a good indication of how I feel about this set. An in-between of real and imaginary, of truth and gently concealed lies, of toys and of those that should have been toys instead of what they are now.

The specific image is a photograph of mine from couple of years ago. It is of ships waiting and waiting and waiting and.. It became what I wanted to see, a world of yellow with colorful toy ships. A make believe story, an escapade from the pollution noise global commerce and what not. GIF edit was made late summer 2021.
