Description
In a colder climate, sometimes it seems that all of life’s experiences are jam-packed into the summer months that ooze with that elusive joie de vivre. And as the summer draws to a close, these sensations are heightened. The inevitability of fall and ensuing winter makes one savor each and every moment that much more. The mundane is suddenly fused with profound. Simple and ordinary things reflect everlasting meanings. Each apple picked in the garden is more than just a fruit to be enjoyed. It is a story to be told of the precious few days, hours, and minutes that are left in the remains of the summer. I have always dreamed of a journey that would take me from summer and into the summer when one travels from the place where summer is about to end to the place where summer still reigns supreme. I invite you with me on that trip from happiness to lasting joy.
