Description
In shadows cast by bustling streets,
Where solitude and sorrow meet,
Dwell stories untold, aching and deep,
Of humans unseen, their pain we keep.
In the corners of our world, they reside,
Invisible hearts, their dignity denied,
Homeless souls, forsaken by fate,
Struggling silently, burdened with weight.
Their weary steps trace lonely roads,
Through winters' chill and summers' scorching loads,
Eyes searching for compassion's embrace,
Yet met with indifference, a cold, heartless space.
Invisible are the struggles they bear,
Like whispers lost upon the air,
We pass them by without a glance,
Caught in the web of our own circumstance.
Do we not see their spirits fade,
Invisible tears, their dreams betrayed?
The world moves on, heedless and blind,
To the human souls we've left behind.
Beneath the layers of worn-out clothes,
Lies a story untold, a heart that knows,
The hardships endured, the battles fought,
Yet unseen, unnoticed, their worth forgot.
And what of those with disabilities bound,
Their existence a labyrinth, confound,
Their bodies bear the weight of unseen chains,
Yearning for a world that understands their pains.
But society's eyes often turn away,
Blinded to the struggles they face each day,
We close our hearts, shut tight the door,
To the voices unheard, we silence their core.
Let us peel the layers of apathy,
Unveil the souls in their entirety,
For every tear that falls unseen,
Diminishes the essence of being human, serene.
It's time to mend the broken strands,
Extend a hand, let empathy expand,
Together, we can bridge the divide,
See the invisible, and walk beside.
For in each soul that we fail to perceive,
We lose a chance to truly believe,
That by embracing their trials and strife,
We unlock the power to transform a life.
So let compassion be our guiding light,
To banish the darkness, restore their sight,
And in unity, may we rise above,
To see the unseen, with boundless love.
