Journey Within

As I look within, I find a friend, One who's been with me till the end, Through trials, troubles, and despair My friendship with myself is like a sacred bond, An unbreakable connection, one that's long been fond. It's healing powers are that which I rely, It soothes my depression, it helps me to fly. My inner self nurtures, like a branch of green leaves, Together we flourish, like a strong rooted tree.
