Destabilization

This piece was intended to be about interconnectedness. The girls on the dock represent different elements of a larger system. The girl stepping into the water represents an element that is out of balance or in conflict with the others, while the girl about to step in represents an element that is about to be affected by this imbalance. The third girl represents an element that is not yet affected but could be in the future. The title "Destabilization" was chosen to highlight the idea that the destabilization of one element can have ripple effects throughout the entire system. The basis for the image was created in Midjourney, and then the girls faces and hands were in-painted using Stable Diffusion. The parts were then combined in photoshop and then upscaled via gigapixel.
