The Great Octopus Off Kanagawa

"The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Katsushika Hokusai is one of my favourite artworks, and I created an animation in tribute to him and his fantastic art. This piece is interpreted in many ways, but for me, it represents the ebb and flow of life, where we persist through the big waves and keep rowing to move forward, no matter what challenges may tower over us. I blended the rumbling, righteous tones of the music with the deep bubbling, and angry sounds of waves to create the right atmosphere for the animation.
