Meta State of Mind

This piece was submitted to SearchLight's "States of the M3taverse" exhibit for ETHDenver and NFTNYC 2023. 'Meta State of Mind' is a multi-layered exploration of the current state of the metaverse, and the ways in which we interact with it. The piece begins with a futuristic, technology-themed background, featuring grid outlines to convey a sense of a simulated program. In the center of the grid is a silhouette of a person's side profile, symbolizing the anonymity of users in the metaverse. The hand-drawn image of the avatar wearing a VR headset, connected to the metaverse through cables, further emphasizes the theme of technology and its impact on our perception of reality. Created from imagination using Procreate, this piece aims to provoke thought and inspire a sense of open-mindedness towards the possibilities of the future in the metaverse. The different layers of the image allow the viewer to delve deeper into the concept and consider the implications of technology on our interactions and experiences.
