The Damage

Genesis for "Mindset Collective" In our collective, we were each given two assignments. The first assignment was, how has the war impacted you? This first piece is part of a collective where all of my artist get to share in the profits. The sale from this piece goes to all of us in equal division. We grow together to create our economy. For me, personally this first piece was about the cost of surviving when nothing else remains. I thought about it in terms of after I recovered from wrongful conviction, which is a work in progress, but it also made me think about my friends in Ukraine, all over Persia and Iran in particular. Once we were all someone's daughter, or son. We are all the same under our skin, we are all souls. I dedicate this piece to my friends who have struggled, and experienced loss. I believe in them, and their spirit to survive and am honored to be a part of this ongoing collective. 1/10 1152x1792
