Everything is Fine but... We can’t get to work because the streets are flooded and school is closed due to another mass shooting and the state just made plan b illegal but we might have taken an antibiotic that night and were over 150 pounds and our health insurance was canceled due to a changed mailing address so we asked for the cost of birth upfront but the hospitals sent us down the labyrinth of “Everything is fine”. Everything is not fine. From Climate change, Police Brutality to Roe v Wade the times are anything but good. But when it feels like it all might fall apart, inhale/exhale a deep breath, take a sip of water, and have gratitude you made it this far. Give grace to what you can not change and be patient to forgive those who know not what they do. Even if it was yourself sometimes.
