Breo-Saighit or Brigit: She was called the Flame of Ireland, Fiery Arrow. She was a Goddess of the forge as well where reflecting on her fire aspect. Brigid's Fire is truly the fire of creativity.
The Goddess Brigit came out of a time of pure light when the sun was worshipped as feminine. A time when dragons filled the skies. She came from a time before sun worship came to be associated with male gods before the Feminine was relegated to the dark nether regions. Brigit was the daughter of the Dagda and related to the great Goddess Dana, the mother of all the gods. Her name was Breo-saighit, a fiery arrow. a triple Goddess and the amalgam of all the ancient Celtic Goddesses. After all, the name Brigit is a title meaning βExalted One.β
