Description
PLASTIC II is the second artwork in the PLASTIC series.
This series attempts to viscerally portray the emotions I feel when seeing all the littered plastic on the ground. Every time I go for my daily walk around the park, I see it everywhere and it sickens me to my core. I feel such disdain for the human race when I see our lack of care for the planet we live on and all the beautiful animals that end up dying because of our actions. Not only are we destroying other life forms, but we are also killing ourselves. Not yet, but eventually it will catch up with us when our future generations pay the price.
Each day on my walk, I end up collecting between 5 - 10 pieces of plastic. I feel compelled to, but sometimes I honestly wish I could just not look down to see it all, and live in ignorant bliss.
