WHAT IS LIFE What is life But falling and rising And twisting and turning If you are lucky You will rise More than you fall You will turn More than you twist You will land With two feet On the ground If you are lucky If you live If you learn If you adapt If you change Then you can rise Fall Twist Turn Get up And do it All again ________ ________ In addition to painting I write a lot and this piece was inspired by the above prose. The nature of human existence has always been under my examination in my practise, and the rollercoaster of life experience has become something that I am all too familiar with. Both the original painting and the animation are being exhibited in #irl galleries in Tunisia, the home of Kenza Zouari, of my first friends and collectors in the crypto/nft space. Since meeting in a Clubhouse room more than a year ago we have bonded over shared ideals around the potential to be explored in this new era of digital art and how this is impacting all areas of society. As I have travelled from Australia to also be here in person for the exhibitions, we are in a way a physical example of how the the crypto art space has bought many people together. There have been many positive outcomes, and this is just the beginning. The big philosophical questions about life are best considered with good company and in community and this is essentially what this piece is all about. Jasmine
