The Heiress of Karma - Special Custom Work

The Heiress of Karma🖤 is a special custom work for a dearest friend/wonderful artist @akaFoley. Endless thank you, Foley for your trust and support. It means the world to me. As he trusts me to make a beautiful 1/1 black&white piece, I've really given it all out. I really enjoyed the process, it's a new challenge to make a black&white work. The Heiress of Karma represents the karma cycle. I've never drawn so much representations & symbols before, so I'm very happy to present you with this. i think of every element carefully. The karma symbol of the endless knot with lotus as the symbol of purity of mind, body & soul You'll see black & white lotus representing the bad & good karma. the roses represents spiritual joy, wings is for compassion and wisdom. The hands of the karma are below there, to catch what we've made. I made this sketch as one of my original characters some time ago, but I didnt do much with her after that. Her name is Kendra. and she has her own back story (a very long one hahahaha, yes i love story). I let Kendra sits for awhile, until Foley gave me this honor request.I went to my sketches and immediately, my inspiration sparks, making the karma girl. I re-colored her digitally then i started to do the lay out and figured out what other elements needed to complete her. I listed all her elements that is karma related. Then i started drawing--these elements & colored them, all on paper. Then the whole process was repeated, scanned, path, digital touch up & lay out. I usually let my work sits for a day or more before i leashed them, just to see if I'm still happy with the result. I let Kendra sat for 2 days before I gave Foley a full preview. The whole process (excluding sketch) took around 2 weeks on & off between works. I'm very happy with the result, even happier knowing that Foley loves it too.
