Hailing from a civilization so ancient that there is no recorded history of a home planet, HER78228-1A (dubbed "HER") is a sentient AI of a previously unknown class of synth, colloquially known as a "traveler." Since HER creates wormholes at will, she requires no vehicle or ship to aid her in the voyage to find another trusted AI with whom she can transmit her vast databanks of knowledge. It is rumored among the synth communities across star systems that HER is the longest running AI and carries several million years' worth of data, which would break any synth who is not equipped to handle and maintain such a knowledge capacity.
