Dancing for the deities in Taiwan's religious parades.
In religious temple parades in Taiwan, in order to entertain the deities as they are carried in palanquins around the streets under their spiritual jurisdiction, they are entertained by sexy dancing girls, pole dancers and sometimes strippers to keep them amused. The entertainments are paid fir through donations to the temple. The tradition began in the 1970s and is still flourishing today
