INTO THE BLUE

A capture I’d never forget whilst on my trip to the beautiful Siargao Island located in the Philippines. I set foot onto this beautiful island hoping to capture its tropical glory. Little did I know I would have to place my drone dreams on hold before bringing this picture to life. Before the sun rose, I had to be transported off the island via a boat of 200 local people to get medical attention as I was passing a kidney stone which was mistaken for Appendicitis. Two days later, exhausted & tired I found my way back to the Island and made my way to this tear-drop-shaped island just in time for sunset. I spent 2 hours capturing the blues that surrounded this magnificent island and found this piece as my best capture of the day. No matter what condition my body was in, Guyam Island had the perfect condition for me. “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” The collector will receive a 18x24 inch fine art print.
