Description
A short window of opportunity to visit Canada’s North before the relenting snowstorms came through in the fall. We eagerly clocked 100km by foot and with terrible weather rolling in I stood with a sprained ankle and the winds howling as I crouched down to photograph and make it down safely.
We never saw another human on these trails. The pure silence of being on a mountaintop, alone, evokes an infinite feeling. The wind and mountain air engulfed my body. In these moments of intensity I find a stillness. Forced meditation. The world melts away and everything feels so clear.
This is what infinity feels like.
