Description
Can it be and not be?
Can it be contradictory?
Each culture justifies its way of being in the name of the natural
(actually what we have naturalized)
What in each age is presented as normal may later not be.
What does not correspond to the hegemonic is defined by a lack, a lack and in binaries.
Then to the black human
it lacks color / "the natural thing is to be white", / to the Indian culture and the woman (....)
Everything governs and responds to the mechanisms of power, imperceptible forms that condition daily life.
As Focault defined it "power is not, power is exercised"
In my opinion, the most dangerous and implacable thing is when it is placed in the shadows, in the false premise of non-existence.
Hence its most effective quality, "normalization."
The first change is to give existence to "nothing".
Denature, question ourselves.
This is what my work is about a western face and the streets of Osaka.
