Description
The Xanas are beneficial fairies from Asturian mythology. They are spirits of Nature.
They usually spin beautiful fabrics with golden threads and comb their hair on the banks of the rivers and springs they inhabit. As they are good fairies, they usually help humans by giving them balls of gold or jewelry as long as they are not greedy or self-interested, in which case they can kill them as punishment.
