Cambodian Sanskrit Mask #2 (Demon Commander)

This is the 2nd piece of my collection ‘Cambodian Sanskrit Masks’. This mask represents Kompoan, the demon commander who leads Krong Reap's army. Each mask is a character in the story of Reamker, an epic Sanskrit poem. This is a legendary battle between monkey soldiers & demons. Reamker tells the story of King Preah Ream and Hindu Monkey God Hanuman who work together to help rescue Preah Ream’s wife from the King of the Underworld (Krong Reap). 2048 x 2732px
