Fernweh

Fernweh is the desire to leave your old life behind, to go explore distant places. This artwork was produced as a companion piece to my previous painting, Hiraeth. Fernweh and I met in somebody else's dream. She is Hiraeth's chaotic sister. They are polar opposites in every imaginable way. Digital drawing using Procreate and a few hours of my time, and animated in Adobe After Effects. The original is 3500px by 3500px This is an edition of 1 of 1 NFT.
