Description
This is a monochrome timelapse video at the H-alpha emission line spectra of sunspots activity on the surface of the sun.
Our sun (a star named sol) is an amazingly active place, with hot and cold areas appearing and disappearing constantly.
Sunspots are regions of reduced surface temperature caused by concentrations of magnetic flux that inhibit convection of hot material from the lower layers to the surface.
