Lenin Peak

My brother and I are developing our own video production. This summer we managed to conquer several mountain peaks. The first was Lenin Peak, towering at 7,134 meters (23,406 ft) above sea level. This was our first expedition into the mountains with our camera equipment. We brought our Cannon EOS 5D, a Black Magic 6K, and a DJI Mavik III quadcopter. We filmed the entire climb from the moment we arrived at the base camp to conquering the cherished summit. The ascent to Lenin Peak took about two weeks, with preparation and acclimatization. We had a group of tourists and planned to shoot a documentary. In the severe weather conditions we could not avoid losses.The camera was the first to fail because of a complicated power supply (temperatures down to -30). The NFT series included footage shot from the drone and camera, which will be used to create the documentary.
