Alalakeiki Channel

"Kahalui Approach, this is Army Aircraft 20594, Single UH-60 transitioning south of your airspace from west to east" This capture is a 1/1 edition and one of my favorite pieces of my growing photo documentary of my time as a UH-60 Pilot. The trip from Oahu to the Big Island was always a memorable flight. In order to assume Medical Evacuation Duty of the Pohakuloa Training Area out of Bradshaw Army Airfield, we would travers through the Alalakeiki Channel between Molokai and Lani passing south of Maui seen here through the windscreen.
